Kazaa Releases Music Streaming App for iPad
Kazaa is a company most known for its role in peer-to-peer file sharing in the years past. However, with a push for new copyright laws and internet censorship to prevent illegal sharing, the company has been forced to rework most of its operations and services – I believe its older P2P software is even banned in some countries.
I would be lying to you if I said I wasn’t surprised that the company has survived this long as many of its competitors have failed to do so.
With that being said, Kazaa shows a willingness to push forward as they dabble in the world of iOS with their music streaming app for iPad.
The app is free but if you want unlimited amounts of music the monthly subscription will cost you $10. The interface is sleek and easy on the the eyes and the app does a good job of competing with its new iOS counterparts.
